Welcome to Kindergarten! I am excited to have you in my class this year! Our day begins at 8:00. We will meet at the kindergarten playground gate each morning. We are a closed campus, but you are invited to walk your child into class on the first day.

CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST

First Grade 2024-2025

Here are the items we use in class:

(These items will be shared in the classroom so please do not put your child’s name on them.)

1 box Crayola crayons (24 count)

4 pencils

4 glue Sticks

2 dry erase markers

1 composition notebook

For the class:

Boys --- 1 box Band-Aids

Girls ---1 box Kleenex tissues

1 package white copy paper

I will provide a pencil pouch, scissors, erasers, and other items your child will need each day.  Please do not bring in any extra items.  We do not use mechanical pencils, pens, or other notebooks/paper in class.

     We have limited space in our classroom for storage and already have most of the items we need to begin the year.  
Classroom Supplies:

A ream of copy paper OR a box of Kleenex OR a box of Ziplock bags (sandwich, quart, or gallon)
 

The students will also want the following to keep at home to complete their homework each week:
Pencils (all homework must be completed in pencil unless students are drawing or coloring a picture.)
A box of crayons

 Please do not send in markers, color pencils, notebooks, or individual pencil sharpeners for your child.  I will make sure they have everything they need for class.

• Tissue, hand sanitizer, and paper are items that are essential, but are used up very quickly.  Any contributions you can make at this time or any time in the future are sincerely appreciated.
• Snacks will not be provided to students by the teacher.  Please make sure your child has a morning snack. Students have a long day at school, and have PE Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Please label any supplies that are not for whole class use with your child’s name and last initial.
